Some thoughts from our mom to mom (m2m) meeting today:
A child´s need to belong is more central than his need to be good
As a rule, children don´t know what they are doing. They have little idea how to handle life so that it works right. That´s why God gave them parents - to love them, to give them structure, and guide them into maturity.
"God is Love" (1 John 4:8)
Wherever you read Love put God in:
"Love(God)suffers long and is kind;
love(God)does not envy;
love(God)does not parade itself(himself),
(He)is not puffed up;
does not behave rudely,
does not seek its(his) own,
is not provoked,
thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity,
but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
(God)Love never fails."
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
